Bio

Bryan Khaemba is an Advocate of the High Court of Kenya. He brings to the firm highly competent and legal experience in various areas of practice. Bryan is a holder of a Master of Laws (LLM) in International Trade and Investments from the University of Nairobi, earned in the year 2011, a Bachelor of Laws Degree from the University of Nairobi (2006) and Diploma in Legal Practice from the Kenya School of Law (2017). Bryan was admitted to the Roll of Advocates in the year 2008.

Bryan worked for the Department of Immigration Services, Kenya, between 2007 and 2010 where he was tasked with the duties of Investigations and Enforcement of Immigration Laws as well as prosecution of offenders. He is an expert in Immigration Services including issuance and renewal of Resident Permits, grant of citizenship status, issuance of visitors, special, dependant and student visas as well us repatriations and deportations of prohibited immigrants et cetera.

Bryan joined the Kenya Judiciary in 2010 as a District Magistrate (II) Professional and rose through the ranks up to the position of Principal Magistrate in June, 2019 when he left. During his tenure as a Magistrate, Bryan presided over various complex and highly sensational cases in his duty Stations of Kigumo Law Courts, Kibera Law Courts and Kiambu Law Courts. While working as a Magistrate, Bryan sat on various committees and taskforces in the Judiciary that shaped several policies, which included the Taskforce on Appointment of Head of Stations, Judicial Service Committee on Training and Development, Taskforce on Human Resource Policies and Manual, Taskforce on the Development of Transfer Policy, et cetera.

In addition, Bryan was elected as the Secretary-General of the Kenya Magistrates and Judges Association (KMJA) between the years 2013 and 2017, and later as the Secretary-General of the East African Magistrates and Judges Association (EAMJA) between the years 2017 and 2019. Bryan is also an accomplished Certified Public Secretary (CPS-K) duly licensed to practice as a Governance Audit Professional by the Institute of Certified Public Secretaries of Kenya (ICPSK). Bryan is married and a father of 3.
